Which train station in Nuremburg is closest to the Christmas market?
I am trying to navigate the German Rail page to figure out at day trip from Munich HptBanhof to the Christmas Market in Nuremburg. It lists about 20 different stations in Nuremburg. What I would really like to do is go through and make a stop in Regensburg either going or coming. I don't know if that is possible. I would appreciate advice from those of you knowledgable about both Nuremburg and the German Train site. Thanks.

The Hauptbahnhof is quite near the Christmas market, but you can take the U-Bahn to the Lorenz station which is about 2 blocks away from the market.
Walking from the Hauptbahnhof would not be difficult. Ditch the bags first either way you choose.
