>but there is no mention of the ones covered on the Half Fare Card.
There is no mention because the coverage is identical.
The cable car/funicular organisations either are part of the Swiss Travel System (and then they offer discount with HFC or Swiss Pass) or they are not (and then they donīt offer any discount).

Check the SBB website for specials being offered. Different price reductions for Swiss destinations are offered every month.

Thanks altamiro - that seems to confirm what I was "assuming". I found a few cables/funicular runs that had their own web sites. On the site they had a "regular" fare, a fare with a Swiss Pass (incl Swiss Flexi Pass), and a third fare for a Swiss Card/Swiss Half Fare Card) - but I did not really know if this was the case with all the lifts. I'm planning on taking 6 lifts that are covered by the Half Fare Card and 3 that are not. A few of the lifts (Rochers de Naye, for example) are quite pricey (62 CHF). We will be in the region for 3 weeks (actually, most of the time barely across the border in France - 40 mins from a convenient train stop) and we plan to take these trains & lifts on 8 differnt days, so a Half Fare Card looks good for us.
schuler - I'll look for the "specials" as I get closer to travel time (July).
