I think Pat (coolwaterwoman) has the right answer. It isn't the airline as much as it is the age of the aircraft. The newer planes, and the older ones that have been refurbished, will almost always have the seat-back videos in all classes. So to be sure, you could check on what type aircraft is being used. But a general answer like the one that said "Lufthansa doesn't have them" is probably incorrect.

Delta DOES have the 777s. we flew that plane both to and from charles de gaulle in late may, early june out of atlanta. <BR>each person had his/her own screen, with controls for movies, radio, and a mapping program.<BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR>

In my defense I got the "no personal seat-back video in economy class" information on Lufthansa and Delta directly from their telephone reservation operators. I glad to hear that they were mistaken, at least in regards to some of their planes.
