Where would you go?

In November I have 7 nights and 5 thousand usd. I don't want to go to london or Paris. I love museums museums museums, art (not modern), yummy food, and beautiful places to photograph. Where would you go?

I agree, for a museum-lover, Florence and Rome. And yummy food, of course, and beautiful.

As long as you mean beautiful buildings - not nature - sine in Nov many things will just be brown and crunchy.

Rome of Florence would be great - as would places in Belgium (IMHO by far the best food in europe) and provincial France (perhaps exploration of Burgundy and Alsace).

Italy would also be an excellent choice. For scenery, it's pretty hard to beat the hilltop towns in Tuscany and Umbria. For museums you need Florence (or of course Rome). In your time frame you could locate in Florence and do various day trips to hilltop towns.

I still think Amsterdam is a good choice (I was your first reply). The architecture, the museums, the canals, all very interesting and scenic. I have some very nice Amsterdam photos from my 8-10 times in the city. Dress warm in November.

Italy would be warmer.

Enjoy your trip, whatever destination you choose!

Vienna or Berlin. Both will be cold, Berlin colder than Vienna.

Another vote for Italy, warmer than the other suggested places, with lots of museums, yummy food and beautiful places to photograph

Spain. Beautiful architecture, world class museums in Madrid. The Alhambra in Granada, the Alcazar in Madrid, white villages. Amazing geology in some areas (Ronda, Cuenca).

Excellent roads if you want to drive. I love Spain.
