How are you getting to Warszawa? If by air, you can take the Airporter bus to hotels in the city center, If by train, The Marriott is across from the main station. Other hotels are close by. I like the Polonia..it is Polish with much history. Search 'Hotels Warsaw Poland' for price and location.

true that Marriott hotel is across from Warszawa Centralna Main train station BUT to reach it you need to walk thru underground sometimes confusing tunnels, and then take stairs ... with taxies manytimes unwilling to take you to the otherside of very busy street ... Holiday Inn maybe better options for walking from hotel to train station ... but this part of Warsaw does not have much to offer in form of sites ... So I would suggest something closer to Old City ... Victoria Hotel (http://www.orbis.pl/en/warszawa/hotels)
or Bristol
