Where to stay in Cotes de Azure
Hi all,
A friend and I (both females in our 30's) are going to visit the French Riviera for 3 nights/4 days. We want to stay in a cool hotel/B&B and are having a hard time finding something that doesn't seem outdated or frumpy, for lack of better words. We wouldn't mind some nightlife nearby, but don't necessarily prefer the clubby, party scene, and would like to be at least fairly close to come good beaches. Does anyone have recommendations for some accommodations that are trendy/clean/newly renovated/young-ish, etc in any of the following areas: St. Tropez, Ste. Maxime, Cannes, etc? Open to other locations, as well. Thank you so much!

We are going in the beginning of June.
Beachfront would be nice, but not 100% necessary. Location is important, whether it's near good shops/restaurants or beaches...either is probably fine if the accommodations are worth it!
We would like to stay at or under $300 USD per night.
Thanks!

Ste Maxime, Frejus, St Tropez, St Aygulf, St Raphael, Le Lavandou, Les Issambres all have sandy beaches (plus others too).
Check Hotel Le Revest in Ste Maxime, recently renovated and well under $300 per night, there is no need to spend that much, unless in St Tropez or Cannes. Maybe Hotel Muse in Ramatuelle (close to St Tropez) might be more your style?
