Where to stay in Aix

We are two couples who will be staying in Aix for 4 nites in April.
Any suggestions for a charming B and B or hotel that is priced under $150 per nite and ideally has a table d'hote ?
Thanks for any suggestions.

Do you want something right in the historical center or in the outskirts ? If the former, try the Maison Carlotta - very charming, cozy place about 30 seconds from the Cours Mirabeau. Don't think Madame does table d'hôtes, but there are so many restaurants right at your doorstep that it shouldn't matter much...

We really dont want to have to get the car out every time we go out --we are certainly prepared to walk a reasonable distance to town center.
Kevin thanks for the suggestion-I will check it out.

we stayed at Le Manoir, right in town with parking. Only breakfast is served.

we have stayed at Les Quatre Dauphins (The Four Dolphins) in the square of the same name..and were very satisfied wth the location, the room and the breakfast choices. It's only a block away from a parking garage, and a five minute walk to Cours Mirabeau...no need to use the car unless you wish to take some day trips. I don't know the rates today, but we paid €80 four years ago.
