I'm living in Rome for the semester and I'm looking for Amalfi-Vietri dinnerware. My mother has a set back home that I'd like to add to, but I might not be able to get all the way to the Amalfi Coast. Anyone know a place where they sell these dishes?

Ceramiche Rampini(www.rampiniceramics.com ) is outside of Radda in Chianti; they also have a showroom in Florence. They are relaiable ans ship their pieces to you in perfect condition.
Also visit Umberto Grazia in Deruta; the shop is beautiful.

Be sure to check about whether the pottery is dishwasher and/or microwave safe. Many items are not and even though I was well aware of it, my teenage children were always forgetting, causing major problems.
I thought the pottery selections on the Amalfi Coast were wonderful, loved their
fish shaped plates and accessories, that are perfect for our beach house.
Cortona also had a great selection. When you see what you like, buy it then as often you won't see it again.
Have a great trip.
