We are set to see Portugal via small ship this summer, stopping only in Porto and in Lisbon where we'll stay on a few days. My one-and-only grandson being a typical 10-yr-old California born and raised kiddo, naturally skateboards, snowboards, and most of all loves to surf. Nazare fascinates him and he has learned quite alot about the area thanks (or not!) to UTube. Question: are souvenirs of the Nazare surf area available in the regions of Porto or Lisbon? There is no way we can get up there due to our schedule. Am just thinking small souvenirs or stickers (for his board of course). I suppose I could email their Tourism Bureau beforehand.
