Where to find O2 SIM card in Galway?

DH and I both have Google G1 phones with T-Mobile in the US. DH has decided that the best SIM card for our trip to Ireland is the O2 Experience Plus. Does anyone know of a particular place in Galway where we can find this card, or will any news agent have it? Thanks in advance!

Is your T-Mobile phone UNLOCKED??? If not, then all this is for naught ...

Here are two locations, with contact info for O2, in Galway:
1 Shop Street, Galway - 091 566357 - 091 466387 - [email protected]

I use Vodaphone, myself -- but, to each, his own ...

Ooops!

And, since I'm editing -- "...to each, his (or her) own."

Thanks so much, Bob! This is perfect! I've made a map so DH can find his way to these places when we arrive (I will be in my room taking a nap.

DH did all the research on this card, so I have no idea why he picked O2. Is there something wrong with O2?

Yes, we both have unlock codes, but it looks like we can't test them until we get to Ireland, so I guess we'll see if they actually work.

First off -- NO, there is nothing 'Wrong' with O2 -- -- of the 'Big Three' (Vodaphone, O2 and Meteor)I believe coverage, rates and costs are all pretty competitive.

Watch the DATA fees and using the 'On-Line' GPS -- costs can add up -- FAST. I have my 3G, A-GPS and GPRS Data options DISABLED, to avoid accidental useage, but the Wi-Fi and Built In GPS have been VERY handy.

I own a Nokia 6110 Navigator. My 'OLD' phone is a Motorola 'PEBL'

I just have NO 'First-Hand' knowledge with anything other than Vodaphone, as when I first purchased my account -- which I have maintained since 2002 -- simply because MOST of my wife's relatives living there were Vodaphone customers.

In truth, I'm not even sure that remains the case, but I've found no compelling reason to switch -- particularly since EVERYONE here in the US AND friends and family in Ireland know my existing number...

Actually, you CAN test the unlock code(s), if you have a friend who has an AT&T phone and is willing to let you borrow their SIM for about 5 minutes.

I'm thinking of adding a second phone to my travel arsenal this trip. I MAY just try an O2 or Meteor for it -- just to compare the coverage ...
