Hello all,
I keep seeing references to Le Clip and it sounds like a great story that has been going on for a while with all the veteran Fodorites. Would love to read it from the original source. Le Clip brings up SharonG's story which was hilarious!
After reading these witty and wonderful trip reports I don't think I will write one as it would just be facts. I want to say thanks to all the people who helped me. Our trip was glorious and it is all due to the help I got here.

Le Clip originated with SharonG's trip to Europe. She bought it in Paris and plans to be buried in it.

Now, on a serious note, they key to any report is this: write about anything and everything what is of interest TO YOU. Every report finds it's readers and admirers. Think of it: your report may help someone the same way as somebody's report helped you.

From what I understand SharonG has a museum quality pedestal in her boudoir that has accent lighting and appropriate motion-sensing detectors for LeClip.

David, please post your trip report. I love reading what others have done/seen/eaten (especially the latter).

Okay I meant Quinn1. Indytravel got me so upset by his knowledge of the whereabouts of Le Clip that I confused the names. Guess I'll have to up my valium intake for today.

I'll tell you the greatest meal I had in Italy in exchange for a photo of you with LeClip....you can actually name your price. I'm sure others would join in the offering. Maybe LeClip could take the place of the secret Fodorite wave. You could sell them and retire....or recoup what you paid for it...which ever is higher.

The whole thing was well-written and great fun IMO. What was also very interesting was the pointed lack of response by some well-known individuals who probably felt like the sun when the moon passes in FRONT of it.

I thought just about everyone in Fodorville responded to the Tennessee Terror! You do know there were three installments.
I myself, would love to visit the Shrine, Sharon..or can we at least have a small photo?

I don't know that you will get a photo from SharonG...she bills me everytime she wears Le Clip when we are together. I haven't been able to afford the admission to the shrine as yet. If she keeps wearing it in my sight, I don't know that I will have the money for our trip to Chicago in September.

I also get frequent updates on Le Clip's provenance. I believe the latest was the fact that Le Clip's maker styled the hair of the Duchess of Windsor.

The Trip Nazi is holding all the photos for ransom so I don't have any. And yes, the designer of Le Clip is Alexandre de Paris and he did the hair of many superluminaries including Princess Grace, Duchess of Windsor and Princess Caroline. How fitting that I should be in the same galaxy of stars....

Amy, I am seeing a Le Clip in your future. The trip that you all are taking next will no doubt have some sort of hair ornament that You must grab first.
So I will just picture it in my mind, sort of like the time the Yankee described the jewels at the Hermitage in Russia, I have a vivid imagination, Le Clip will look very good indeed
