Elka,
You better have better information on Nowy Dwor that what you've submitted. There are about 25 different Nowy Dwor in Poland stretching north form Krakow up to Gandsk and west from Warsaw. Nowy Dwor must be like Smith in English. See if you can get more information.
Good luck.

Elka,
Jim is quite correct in saying that there are a number of towns in Poland (Czech Republic, as well) with names commencing with "Nowy", such as Nowy Gaj and Nowy Kaweczyn. There is, however, only one Nowy Dwor. The closest similar names are Nowy Dwor Gdansk and Nowy Dwor Mazowiecki.

Elka---
I think Wes Fowler is correct. By the way, Nowy Dwor is pronounced NO-vee D'vor, in which you say the "d" of Dwor and the "v" sound of the "w" as one syllable, as best you can. In the correct pronunciation, the "d" is almost a quick release of air between the tip of the tongue and the roof of the mouth, followed in the same breath by the "vor" part, which is pronounced clearly. It means "new court" or "new courtyard" or in more general terms, a new section or area.
