Hi all, I live close to the beautiful Barossa Valley (wine, wine, wine!) north of Adelaide, South Australia. Loved reading this post and thanks to all that helped in our recent European jaunt. To all those who live in New England - had a fantastic trip there last fall (autumn!) what a beautiful place, can't wait to come back.

Husband was a TV newscaster, hence our family moved around a lot.

We now live in Chattanooga, TN where I started out!

Have traveled to Rome, Athens and Paris.

Currently Houston , Texas. We have been here for 4 years which in our married life is the longest we have been anywhere!
Since 1985, it has been, Edinburgh to Kent, England as my husband worked in London, till 1990 , then with a toddler and a baby it was off to Holland for three and a half years.
After that, with our three children, back to kent for 364 days! next up to rural Aberdeenshire for 20 months. Thence to Stavanger , Norway for 19 months, back to Aberdeenshire for 18 months and then to Houston.
We worked out recently that in 20 years of marriage we have lived in 10 houses!
I always thought i would marry and stay in Edinburgh for the rest of my life!
We are just now wondering when and where next ??

Catfancier, which TV station was your husband broadcasting? My husband was with the Boston Globe.

Cigalechanta.....My hubby was in the Army when we lived in Massachusetts (Ft. Devens, now closed, I believe). We loved Boston and got over there every chance we could, plus other areas of New England.

Cat! My husband was also at Fort Devens!!!
Yes it is closed and is now a town called "Devens."
