I was born in Detroit, lived in PA, TX and Indonesia before moving back to MI. I now live in Traverse City, a beautiful year round resort town on a bay off Lake Michigan in the NW corner of the lower peninsula. http://www.mytraversecity.com/ I'm planning to move to Saint Simons Island, GA within the year.

Hello everyone. Although I feel like I "live" on American Airlines, I was born in Binghamton, N.Y., went to college in Pittsburgh, PA. and I currently reside in Dallas, Texas while commuting to work in New York city. Future plans include calling Italy home.

I was born in the naval hospital in Portsmouth, VA, on the coast. But for five years when I lived just north of Philadelphia, I have lived in the Tidwater area. Currently in Chesapeake, VA. I love this area - it is on the ocean, 3 hours to the Blue Ridge Mountains and 1& 1/2 hour to the Outer Banks of NC. Williamsburg and James Town are about 45 minutes away. DC is about 3 & 1/2 hours away. Lots and Lots of American History very close. Of course the humidity in the summer is brutal - but if you are on the beach - who cares?

Wow, what a thread. Can't believe I read the whole thing! Have been lurking and learning and enjoying (for the most part). Born in Hannover, Germany; moved to Wisconsin as a child, have lived here ever since; getting tired of the long winters, so plan to move to Anna Maria Island, Florida within a year or so. Love to travel!
