I was born in Sydney, Australia and have lived in Sydney all my life (so far)
This is my first communication although I've been visiting this site for a couple of weeks now.Great for both information & entertainment.
Thank you, Mimi, for the question - I must admit I was curious to know where everyone is from and whether most are from USA.

Hi - I was born and raised and went to college in Eastern Pennsylvania.
I have lived in Durham, NC; Tulsa, OK; Philadelphia, PA; Ann Arbor, MI; Atlanta, GA; and now in Northern New Jersey.
But my heart resides in the English countryside.

I was born and raised in Los Angeles and decided to move to NYC last year for an adventure. I love it but miss LA, which will always be my home, my three favorite places in the world so far: Italy, NY and LA.
P.S. I am totally addicted to this board!

Dear Mimi: I won't say how old I am except I have shoes older than some of the posters!! Born in London - I'm a "true" cockney.. travelled and then married an American.. lived in LA, PA, NV, PA again and now very happily settled in Phoenix, Arizona.. happiest day was when my husband gave away my snow shovel (and it was new!).. We travel a lot.. still haven't made it to Japan, Russia or Australia.. not from lack of wanting - You take care.. have a wonderful life and make every day a voyage..

I'm topping my own thread, which I don't often do, as i think it self serving, but I'm so glad to see so many new posters. When I first came to this site., There were so many posters who were so mean to alot of us, with out reason who top a thread, with their coherts, to make it a popularity contest, but if it's a fun one and the dollar is down, why not? We are here, I hope, because of our love of travel, wherever we are, like Sheila, in Scotland, Ben Haines, in England, John in the US, Ursula in Switzerland, Marion in Belgium, forgive me for only mentioning the few I know through the last few several years I have been on line. My friends know who they are so I don't mention them. We are so lucky to have this avenue to get information and meet new friends. I only hope you feel the same way.

Ahhh, is it too late to reply to this thread? The previous poster echoes my sentiments; I've received numerous tips from this message board, so thanks!
For what it's worth, I live in Washington, DC. I was born in the Philippines, grew up in Argenteuil (Parisian suburb), and relocated to northern California for university. I have also lived in Denver, CO, & Chicago, IL.
