where can i find the best poulet roti in paris

and where can i find the best approximation of belgian style moules? the closer to the 12th the better but this is not the definitive criterion. we leave on the 18th and are looking to fill in some empty dining evenings with a couple of good (somewhat less expensive) spots than we've already reserved.

From Gare St. Lazare, go east on Rue Saint-Lazare and turn right on Rue de Caumartin.

Right next to McDonald's there is a sidewalk carryout (sorry I don't remember the name) that has the best roast chicken I have ever tasted. And the apple tarts are to die for.

Bon appétit!

On Quai de la Tournelle (Left Bank) restaurant called Rotisserie du Beaujolais that has very good roast chicken, very nice with garlic mash!

Nowhere near the 12th, but hubby has enjoyed mussels at both Brasserie Ecole Militaire (7th) and Cafe le Rendezvous at Denfert Rochereau (14th).

Now that I think of it, I had poulet roti w/frites at le Rendezvous the same meal hubby had moules. It was tasty and a good-size serving (more than I could finish). I can't swear to it but I think both 'plats' were around 8-10E each.
