What to pack for 35 day trip and only one suitcase

I will be traveling from England, everything in between down to the Greek islands. I can only bring one bag and one carry on. I will be gone for 35 days and am going on a Cosmos tour. I will also be in Ireland. What do I pack? We leave Jun. 2nd. Thanks.

Pack the same as for a 10 day trip and have the hotels do laundry on the way.

Be sure to bring a couple of swimsuits for Greece and a folding umbrella for Ireland.

Hi cttork, I have been on two month trips. I pack enough for one week..if you have enough for one week with either hand laundry, drycleaners or commercial laundry you will have enough for your entire trip.

Hi ct. We took that trip last year in April. Had a wonderful time. Took enough clothes for 2 wks. & did laundry in Sorento.

As the other say - pack the same for 35 days as you would for 7 to 10 days.

Just include a sweater or light jacket if it gets cool in the UK/Ireland.

Search on here - there have been lots of threads about packing light. I personally would use a 21 inch rollaboard and either a large-ish casual handbag, or a small day pack.

Quick dry lingerie and shirts might be very helpful. Either a light sweater or a microfleece in a dark color. I like to use a 21" roller and a large microfiber zippered tote with lots of pockets.

I packed for three months and had two cases but was going to school overseas....

The thing I missed most was the simple over-the-counter meds that I used back home. Benadryl after a day of allergies. Tums or whatever. Sure they had stuff, but it was a crapshoot and expensive trying to figure out what was the same.

My longest trip (as opposed to when I actually moved..which is a whole different story) was 4 months and I had one suitcase that I could carry easily and a carry on. You are lucky as your trip will all be tourism as opposed to business or a ski trip. Make sure you have dark trousers and that everything you pack has multi-use. Start collecting mini toiletries (if you are a woman the small samples they give as a promotion are great)..You will not need to go to a laudromat if you plan well..For my trip I hit the laundromat once and use da laundry once. I csrried small amts of cold water soap powder.

Thanks everyone. Packing light is going to be an adjustment for me. When we travel, I typically take 10 outfits for five days. I realize that I can't do that on this trip.
