I am planning a trip to Paris with my family. I want to know how can we enjoy our vacation in Paris. I heard that there’s still plenty more to see and do in the City of Light, but I am not getting the exact information so that i can plan now only. Any suggestions?p

All of the above are spectacular, but don't forget to just pull up a chair in a cafe, have a glass of wine and a baguette and watch the world go by. Oh!! And the shopping!!!!!!

Same sentiments as the above posters. I could never run out of things to see and do in Paris, or London for that matter, though it may require some dexterity when you have children with specific interests and schedules in your company. Still, there's lots that will happily occupy them too.

My suggestion is to be more specific in your request. A vague question can only get vague responses in return.

Honestly, unless you are totally void of imagination and research skills, you couldn't possibly ever run out of things to do in Paris. And on a second trip???? Unthinkable.

My next will be my 111th, and I actually still have a few ideas.

At any rate, no one has any idea how you and your family can enjoy this trip, as you haven't divulged any information other than some apprehension about visiting a place twice.

Get a guidebook. Then let each member of your family pick the 3 things they most want to see or do.

If you are planning with a family, think of your kids. Almost all locations are good, there are specific things like Disneyland which kids love to enjoy. It is better to plan a tour based on interests of whole family. None would feel bored in the Paris. For more information about the Paris and its destinations click on following links.

You know your kids best. If they like to be part of the planning, you could have each one choose a day to be tour guide in some arrondissement.

Or you could make a theme out of the trip. I'm trying to remember which trip it was (the third or the fourth), but one time we had the kids take charge of exploring Paris passages, sort of like a "Where's Waldo" exercise. They had to take charge of getting us to each one by Metro. Then we'd pop into some nearby cafe or museum or store as part of the adventure.

We didn't have the luxury of such an informational piece, but it's possible it was more fun to take our battered "Access Paris" and "discover" the area around the passages on our own anyway.

When the youngest did her study abroad in Paris, she'd often explore the city in much the same way. One Saturday she'd do nothing but climb all over Montmartre; another Saturday she'd look for street art, another day she'd visit chocolate shops until she couldn't taste anymore.
