what to do in Valladolid, Spain
My DH has been invited to speak at a conference in Valladolid, Spain in October. I've decided that he needs company
on this trip. We're already getting together a list of possible places to go & things to do after the conference. Now, here's the question.
I will have 2 days on my own in Valladolid. I don't speak Spanish & we probably won't have a car. What should I do to amuse myself?
I have to admit, I'm not big on art museums. Last year I joined him for a conference in Rome. One day I took a cooking lesson & the other I took a group tour to Tivoli and Hadrian’s villa. However, I've looked online & it appears there are no group tours in English from Valladolid. Do you know of anything? I would love to do a cooking lesson. Would also like a chance to see the countryside - maybe visit some olive groves etc.
I'd really appreciate any suggestions or links to potential activities.

Valladolid is a major university city. You will find that there is quite a bit to do.

In case anyone else is looking, let me update this. I contacted the tourist office in Valladolid & they don't have any tours in English. There are regularly scheduled English tours in Salamanca, however, which can be reached by train.
