Going on a cruise with a group. Trip scheduled to see volcano though I'm not interested. Any suggestions for somewhere else to go? Is the wine tasting any good? Is snorkeling an option? Suggestions soon please. I leave next week!

When we had a cruise stop in Santorini, we did a self-guided walking tour I found in a guide book, but I'm sorry that I don't remember which book.

Spent most of the time in line waiting for the cable car (from ship can take cable car, donkey or go by foot up same stairs) but still glad to have gone. If you are taking a cruise there, Oia (need to get transportation there from Santorini)is supposed to have amazing sunsets. See if you can get a cruise that leaves after that.
