I've been to classical concerts in churches in the 5/6th (St Chapelle is also a good choice). I've also been to see an English language movie at a small theatre 1/2 block from St Julien le Pauvre church. I usually have dinner around 8...

I agree with the idea that all you need to do is buy an entertainment guide and look at the sections and decide what appeals to you. I bet there isn't anything someone will come up with that isn't in there. I like Officiel des Spectacles, but Pariscope is fine, also.
What do you do at home in the evenings that you want to do but can't find in Paris? Maybe go somewhere more than just around your hotel a block or so, is that maybe the problem? It is pretty quiet in the few streets right on the edge of the gardens over there (which I would consider a blessing), so walk or take the metro up to bd Montparnasse or down to bd St Germain or something.

Hi 1239 - I'm drowning in Paris, too, but it's impossible to be unhappy here.
I've seen posters for the concerts Michel is talking about... they're at churches all over town this week. Also the Pompidou is open until 11 pm tomorrow night (Thursday), and they sometimes have fun events. I know those aren't particularly in the 6th, but they're not far.
