What time of day to take the eurotrain from Paris to London.

I am flying into Paris and then taking the train to London. I would like to go second class but some threads warn of overcrowding. If I go mid-week what time is the best for quieter passage? I was thinking noon. Thank you for any assistance.

Hi Surf,

If you go to www.eurostar.com you can buy your tickets in advance and get the lowest prices.

It is often cheaper to buy a one-day Round Trip ticket than it is to buy a one-way ticket.

Click o the UK, not the US site. It is cheaper.

ira, yes I saw that information in a prior thread of yours and I wrote it down. I believe in that thread a person remarked they had taken a noon second class train and it was packed. If I travel mid week in May will there be a problem?

also...when I go to the www.eurostar.com site it does not let me choose between US and UK. I looked in site map and again could not find it. Do I need to go to a different address?

I think noon is a good time to travel. You should be able to check into your hotel when you arrive, and you'll miss the "commuter rush."
