What is your spa day or stay spa?

And what is your favorite spa treatment?

I've gotten great info by searching here under spas but would love to hear more.

This trip will be in Central Europe mid July, other areas would be nice to hear about for another trip!

If the spa offers it, I would suggest a hot stone massage...it looks sooooo heavenly!

oooh, the hot stone massage is heavenly! I have had one several times and they were awesome! Facials aren't so bad, either

I like just plain ol' aromatherapy massages. I also love special treatments, like salt scrubs, body wraps and waterfall massages.

Funny to read this because I literally just called and made an apointment at a local spa here in St. Louis for a massage! DH was wonderful enough to get me a gift certificate for our recent wedding anniversary, and I intend to make good use of it!

I go every second year with my jass frauen (card playing group) on a wellness weekend. The best wellness hotel we have found thus far is:

Wartherhof in Warth am Arlberg, Austria. Very close to the Swiss border. The food and the facilities are to die for. And Alois, the massuer, is out of this world.

I am not a spa person usually (I have a thing about others touching me and I don't know why) but I had wonderful salt scrub in a spa in N. Thailand. It was followed by a green tea hot tub soak. I sat in the tuon an outdoor balcony) and looked over towards Laos. They served green tea and ginger cookies while I soaked- unforgetable.

Wait, does that emoticon have a black eye?

The tea bath sounds great....makes me contemplate having one tonight!! though the only thing I will be overlooking is my tub and my bathroom floor, and maybe my nosey cat.
