Well this may not specifically be my favourite but looks like the UK is sewn up.

sunny beach in bulgaria is beautiful, mind this was 11 years ago before tourism hit the country, so it could be completely different now.

Also the coastline in the NE of England is good to look at, rugged with cliffs and white sand. Downside the North Sea is cold and fairly dirty! So not what you are looking for really

I don't mean because the UK is not beautiful , the UK has some of my favorite landscapes in europe. I mean amazing because It could of have fooled me into thinking it was somewhere closer to the equator. Beautiful water

Another vote for Biarritz...does a runner with hot apricot doughnuts still ply his trade while you bask on the beach?

lobo_mau,

Is "your" beach located in the Algarve? If so where. I would like to visit there on my next trip to Potugal.

Cote d'Argent in France (the 100km-long beach south of Arcachon Bay, but NOT Biarritz).

Beach in Barcelona, not at all the most buetiful but it was the first time I saw my wife go topless in public. I was looking away watching windsurfers in the high waves, I looked over any my wife was bare, very sexy. Wow, we were in europe of a month at that time and nothing and then out of the blue pow.

Positano. Beautiful beach with black rocky sand and enchanting blue water. Also the first European beach I went topless on. There is something very sensuous about sunbathing under the southern italian sun.

my favorite is ****** beach on ****** island, in Greece.

Quiet, undisturbed, gorgeous and I won't name it because it begs to not be discovered.

The beaches in the north west of Scotland are spectacular, I have particularly fond memories of the Silver Sands of Morar and some beautiful and deserted beaches on the Outer Hebrides (Harris/Lewis)

For somewhere actually warm enough to swim though, I'd choose Voidokilia in the Peloponnese.
