In the American League it is designated hitter. Let us not go too far beyond that.

For a while, I thought everyone was travelling with DH, and I thought he was dang lucky to travel so much and to so many places. Very rarely did I see, DW... so I remained confused for awhile.

What are some of the other ways of stating the other?
Mine is mfo. Some may know what that is. Others won't have a clue.

ttt (always sounded like tsk tsk to me till I realized that it meant "to the top of the post".
