What European Destinations are on your "Bucket List"?
I am sure other Fodorites are like me and have a long list of trips they want to take before they are not able to travel anymore. What trips are on the top of your list??
My top three are:
1. Netherlands, Brussels, Ireland- going in May.
2. Lake Como and Portofino
3. Norway in a Nutshell and St. Petersburg

Not a bucket list, but where I want to go...
London
Rome
Florence and Venice
Greece
More of england/scotland/wales/Ireland
Granada maybe
Um, not sure what else. There's a few more places I'd like to see, but they're not way up in the must list.

Ours are:
1. Croatia/Slovenia
2. Rome and Southern Italy
3. Greece: Dodecanese Islands
Ah to dream....
We are actually thinking of straying from Europe.....maybe Egypt 2010!?, Tunisia? It can be hard to stray from one's comfort zone.

In Europe:
Sicily, Puglia and...?
Krakow, Prague, Vienna?
Croatia and Slovenia
Outside of Europe:
Rwanda and Uganda
Vietnam
Colonial Mexico
India
Egypt/Jordan
Tunisia
Gabon
Getting back to East Africa is priority number 1. I'm having a hard time deciding the order of all the others. Plus, I want to get back to Paris and Rome--soon.

I've always wanted to do the Euro rail thing that I didn't do when I would have qualified for a cheap young person's pass cos I was too busy travelling to more exotic places.
And now I am. May-June 2008. London to Moscow by train. I started out thinking London-Berlin-Warsaw-Moscow. But since revised to take a more southerly route via Amsterdam, then Slovakia and Ukraine.
Could happily spend a month in France or Italy or Germany - you know, to see not the cities, but the small places and the countryside. But figure I can do that when more deprepit than I am now.
So this time I get an adventure and I get to visit my top of the list destination - Russia.
Happy travels, all.

My husband and I have lots of trips we would like to take. A few on the top of the list:
Berlin and Dresden
southern France/northern Spain
(roughly following pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compestella)
Portugal
Sarajevo (I have a friend working there for a few years)
Umbria
