AJ, a while back I got so discouraged at this forum that I did not think I would ever post anything anymore but seing your post, I just have to reply. In short, your posting is one of the best and most thoughtful I have ever seen.Keep on!

My, my, what a shrinking violet AJ has suddenly become...how very sweet and demure. <BR> <BR>Look at her screeching "babies" posts and responses on the US forum for a real taste of her. She accuses, puts words in everyone's mouths and generally twists everything that is said to suit her own agenda. Exactly how many faces does this woman have?

Ohhhh! While I do not agree with AJ's comments at all concerning child rearing, I will say that I find this idea quite charitable and kind.

I agreed with you on the babies issue, and I agree with you here, AJ. There is another important benefit of what you are proposing. Not only can your hosts benefit, but the contacts also enrich your own life and make you a better person. Isn't that what we are always saying travel should do?

Thanks Tony! JoAnn--I'm sure Tony appreciates the support, but it wasn't meant as an insult. All I'm saying is that some of his comments come out of left field...people must wonder what in the world he's talking about. <BR>Emily
