What can I write in French on postcards from Paris?

I need a short French phrase that I can write on postcards to my freind in the US. I was thinking of writing Bonjour, but I would like something a little more creative. Any suggestions?

Just writing in French serves little purpose if you don't know what it means.

What would you like it to say in French?

What about the French translation of...

The weather is here, wish you were beautiful?

Oh well, it worked as a Tshirt from Jamaica from Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville!

How about something like

Mon enfant, ma sœur,
Songe à la douceur
D’aller là-bas vivre ensemble ;

Décoreraient notre chambre ;

Dont l’humeur est vagabonde ;
C’est pour assouvir
Ton moindre désir
Qu’ils viennent du bout du monde.
Les soleils couchants
Revêtent les champs,
Les canaux, la ville entière,
D’hyacinthe et d’or ;

How about my old French favorite?

Deux pates pure boeuf...

Sauce speciale...

Laitue...

Fromage...

Cornichons...

Oignons...

Then duck.

LOL Micky!

I sometimes write that I am having a wonderful time and I am not coming home.
You might wish to write that too, once you are there

Can you translate the Beudalier (sp) to Dutch for my amsterdam postcards please Haha, a good dutch phraase would be good for me to send home. Nice thinking. And I won't translate it for them either. They will just have to wonder what the hell I'm saying.

How close is your friend? To someone very close, a French person might write something like "Bises de Paris" (=kisses from Paris). To be more formal, you could say "Tant de souvenirs à raconter" (=so many memories to tell you about).

Lovely poem, but will it fit on a postcard?
