What about Wales?

Lisa, I find this hard to believe. I was planning a visit to Wales for last Autumn (didn't go, ended up in Scotland instead) and obtained lots of valuable information from the Wales Tourist Board. Suggest you find their web site or contact the BTA office in your country and ask for the "Wales: Land of Nature and Legend" booklet as well as the Wales Bed & Breakfast Touring Map. Good luck.

Have you looked at the Welsh Tourist Board's website: http://www.visitwales.com/
The tourist board has lots of brochures, including ones for individual regions of Wales.
If you're interested in the narrow-gauge rail lines of Wales
http://www.whr.co.uk/gltw/
A good travel bookshop should have at least some books on just Wales (as opposed to Britain in general). I used the Blue Guide and Rough Guide, but I know there are others, too.
Wales is great. Have a good trip.

Hi Lisa! Spent a week in Wales this past Sept in a stone cottage in the village of LLanbedr(Snowdonia). Wales is a beautiful country. Try www.gwynedd.gov.uk site for Northern Wales info or www.anglesey.gov.uk for the Isle of Anglessey info(we were going to visit but ran out of time) or thw web given previously by KT.
