maitaitom, I just saw your question about Trattoria Sciame in Montalcino.
It is the most unassuming restaurant with just nine tables. The feel is a 1950's family kitchen with the owner's toddler crying for his daddy. At that point, we thought we made a mistake. But when the food came, the flavors were wonderful...my husband ordered another piece of meet because he couldn't get enought of it and he is NOT a big eater. This restaurant was special to us, but I'm not sure if it would be for everyone.
