Well-known meeting place at CDG?
First time poster, long-time lurker. Warning - this is the first of what will undoubtedly be several questions before Mr. cthoops and I leave for our first trip to Paris in late September!
Due to slightly different travel plans we won't be taking the same flight there. I'll be coming in on AA, he's taking Germanwings, and we'll both be arriving around 7:30 a.m. Is there a well-known meeting place at CDG, similar to "the clock" at Grand Central in NYC, or should he just try to find me at my baggage claim?
Thanks!

It depends on what terminals you'll be landing at. If he's landing at T3 and you're landing at T1 or T2, it won't be that simple. The best bet is to meet at the RER station. From T1 & T3 it's walking distance, but a shuttle to the RER station may be necessary from T2, if I recall correctly.

Whoa, hold on there! There are 2 RER stations at CDG. #2 serves terminal 2 and is walkable for all areas of terminal 2 because it is all the same building. #1 serves terminals 1 & 3 and is only walkable from terminal 3. A shuttle bus brings people from terminal 1.
The best meeting place is the terminal 2 RER station. There are seats for waiting next to the ticket machines.

Germanwings use CDG1, AA uses CDG 2A. If you're planning to take the RER to Paris, have the husband take the free shuttle from 1 to 2A, and then both of you can walk over to the RER station at CDG2 to go to Paris.
From T1, one has to take a shuttle to get to the RER anyways (that station serves both 1 and 3, walkable to 3, but not to 1).
