Bookmarking a five year old thread? . . . a hint for future reference, why not e-mail it to yourself (see the symbols up top? )

I'm not sure but I think when the new format is installed by iB we won't have the ability to 'bookmark' ancient topics.

FMT, I want to thank you for all the time and effort you put into helping us with French information. It's invaluable.

We drove to Giverney and then on to Rouen for the night after our flight. We did arrive earlier than 11 however. I was 70 at the time and it didn't seem so hard. Jusst my opinion.
If you take the train to Rouen you have to go into paris, spend the night etc. That has always seemed "harder" for me than just a short trip.
Honfleur is a charming town--we stopped there also after Rouen, and then stayed in Bayeux for 3 nights as a base for Normandy.

Parking is a major concern in HOnfleur, I will add. Find out where your hotel parking is--it may not be right at the hotel.

If you MUST drive after the flight, I recommend going just as far as Petit Andelys and staying at the charming hotel/restaurant La Chaîne d'Or. Everyone I've suggested the hotel to has loved it. It's right on the bank of the Seine; some rooms have a river view. The small town is ideal for stretching the legs after a long flight and car drive.

Is that a positive or negative - to me negative.

How could that be prevented? Typing "bookmarking" into a topic's response is the same as someone who is responding to the OP... unless they search for the word "bookmark" in the response. Then we will just find another word to use.
