Weather/Packing Advice for Provence Late September

We are going to be in Provence and the South of France for two weeks at the end of September - arriving 9/21 and departing 10/3. We'll be traveling from up in the Luberon to down on the coast. What are your packing tips for this time weather-wise?

We were there last year that time. We had beautiful weather. It was mild during the sunny days and cool in early morning and evenings. I wore short sleeved tops most days with a light weight sweater. Capris or light weight slacks. If you are from NYC the weather should be the same as you are used to.

Ditto Deb.

A couple of times during the first/second week of Oct we had to scrape ice off the car windshield in the early morning. We didn't dine outside for dinner - but mid-day we could have.

Great - thanks. Should we bring bathing suits? All of the various B&Bs that we're staying at have pools. Will it be too chilly to swim, even down on the coast?

IF the pools are heated and they will still be open, yes, bring your suits. We did swim in the pool at our gite. I did wade into the sea while at Nice but the water felt to cool to go into.
