We have one extra day in Italy what do do with it.
Hello everyone,
We have finalized our plans.
Fly to London - 2 nights
Fly to Milan - train to Florence (don't ask why we are not landing in Florence - long story)
Florence - 2 nights
Siena - 3 nights with day trips to hill towns
San Quirico - 2 nights - more tuscan hill towns
this is where we have the extra night.
I will be Monday when we leave San Quirico -
can't decided is we should go back to Florence, since we only had approx. 1/2 days there, or add an extra day to Venice which is to start on Tuesday for 3 nights, or stay put in the countryside for one more night.
Any suggestions?
Grazie,
Karen

Sounds like a good plan.
I know that you have worked hard on it.
Would you consider adding a day to Venice. If you are bored with Venice, then there are vaporettos to Burano, Murano, the Lido and even Chioggio (southern end of the Venetian lagoon) as well some daytrip options by train.
Enjoy your trip.
