People having paid by credit card are advised by SkyEurope to dispute the charges, all those debit card customers are out of luck, the money is gone.

That's the way I read it, if your credit card company doesn't refund you the cash... then you are not getting any.
Not sure how it works in Europe, but technically in America credit card disputes have to be filed within X days of the purchase. Now they have done the refunds in the past even if prior to X, but... who knows.
