Thanks all for keeping the good wishes coming!
I just returned from dropping dd at MSP. She gets to spend one week in complete "spoiledom" with her grandparents in Miami.
Ds is thrilled to stay home and meet up with his high school buddies.
And me, I guess I am chopped liver...

What a great thread - thanks Venezuela.
When I read 'warm' holiday greetings I immediately thought of blue skies and sunshine. We are spending Christmas in Strasbourg where it is unbelievably cold. Today the wind has icicles.

Best wishes for a splendid holiday season and a healthy new year from Highland Park, Illinois, USA, to all Fodorites. This site is absolutely priceless to me, with its up to date travel info and advice. Thanks to all for your various contributions that keep my travel dreams going! After I get my new knees this Spring I'll be able to begin making travel plans again. Until then, I'll continue to travel vicariously through all of you.
