Happy Holidays Everyone

Like any family, we Fodorites have our opinions and sometimes get into squabbles, but in the end, we usually all make up and laugh about it.

To everyone, Happy Holidays. I hope you are having a great time, regardless of where you are located.

This year we decided to stay home for Christmas, with the kids coming down here to Florida. I know they'll hate it since one is coming from upstate NY and the other from Denver.

Merry Christmas from Kentucky where it is cold today, but rain is coming. At least the weatherman has promised sunshine for Christmas Day, which is good for those of us who drive over the river and through the woods for our dinner.

Yes, Happy Chanukah and Merry Xmas to all who celebrate - I know several of the Fodorites are spending the holidays in Paris and I'm looking forward to their trip reports - about what Xmas in Paris looks and feels like.

South Florida has been in the low 70's days for a couple of weeks, prolly 60's in the nights - which is cold for us but I haven't had to turn on the heat yet.

I suppose all those snow storms and cold fronts are affecting us down here, and I remember the first year I was here it did fall down to the 30's and 40's - hope not to see that again -

Watching SKY News off and on today I can't help feeling that although I love snow ( seldom seen here) I think I would rather be splashing about in our pool in 32C+ heat!
It looks toooooooo snowy for words over in the Staes right now.

Merry Christmas Fodorite Family and a very happy and healthy New Year to one and all!

For all the years of great straight forward advice you have given me may all Fodorites travel more in 2009, safely and with more freebies and upgrades. And may you continue to bring joy and knowledge to all you meet.

Health, strength and posperity is my wish for all of you with a thankful heart I say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Lastly, with a Christmas miracle may we each wake up Christmas morning to find a extra million miles in our travel club accounts.
