The frosted glass doors I was referring to (though apparently not an issue at MP)...

I might not have been through MP but I have dealt with inexperienced solo travelers and was trying to help the OP head off a couple of potential problems. I'm sure mother will be just fine!

"Bagno" may be the term for bathroom, but signs for public restrooms will read "Toilet."

Your mom should be fine. Hope she can travel light so she can bring her bag to the toilet with her. One of the few negatives about traveling alone--no one to watch things at T times!
