Vulcanburg Information
Hi, I'm heading on a European trip at the end of October and will be staying for three nights in the town of Valkenburg. I have some information, but would appreciate any other info. from travelers who have visited there.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Sorry I got called away before I could finish my last post...
Valkenburg is a small, touristy town in south Limburg, not too far from Maastricht.
I suggest you look at www.Valkenburg.nl for more info on what to do in and around the town.
In Valkenburg you could visit Thermae 2000 www.thermae.nl, a local spa resort.
There are also several cave systems you can visit. The area is very un Dutch - it is hilly and the poeple really enkoy life there. There is great walking around that area, horseriding etc. I don't recommend bike riding unless you are seriously fit - the hills can be very steep.
Maastricht is worth a visit if you have the time.
Have fun.
