You need transportation from Marco Polo airport to the Hilton Molino Stucky? Take a water taxi (around 110 Euro) or take Alilaguna (Google the name; around 15 Euro to one of the vaporetto stops served by the Hilton shuttle) or take an ATVO bus (3 Euro) to Piazzale Roma and a vaporetto from there (6.50 Euro unless you have a pass).
What does this have to do with Rome?

The hotel website offers almost all of the options. I think the fastest option is the land taxi to Piazzale Roma and then transfer to the water-bus. Or an expensive water taxi from the airport directly to the hotel.

There is one more option, which is inexpensive-
Local or Express bus (20 minutes, boarding is right in front of the airport terminal doors) to Piazzale Roma and then the public water-bus to the Palanca stop. This will also be fast and would be the method I would use to save money.

The red and blue Alilaguna (express boat) routes from the airport actually stop at Molino Stucky during certain times.

To travel from Molino Stucky to Rome, take a vaporetto (water bus) to Ferrovia (the train station) and catch a direct train there.

Walk from airport terminal to Aligaluna ferry terminal. Takes ten minutes, use an airport trolley for your bags.
Alilaguna waterbus to San Marco - takes about an hour. Get off at the San Zacharia stop.
Molino Stucky private boat does a San Zacharia (San Marco) - Molino shuttle.

Sorry, I was in such a hurry that never noticed the not-so-nice-tone.
I really like this site because everyone is so nice and helpful.
My apologies to all, especially to Franco.
Dave I had to laugh too, since in my rush I didn't check what I wrote. I deserved that one.
My trip starts in Rome for a few days and then expect to take the train to Venice, but the other couple is flying directly to Venice and with the luggage, even if not much is not so easy for them.
Also about the cost.

Thank you all for your advise. I just checked them out and got all the info. needed.
I'm sure this will be a nice trip. We will fly to Rome, then go to Venice and take a cruise "NCL" from there to the Greek Islands.
Any other suggestions for this trip will be welcomed.
Thanks.

why not post a trip report [even a little one] and tell us how your trip, and the connections suggested here, worked out?
hope it's a great trip

"Well, from Rome the cab ride to Venice is a bit pricey.
I seldom get to make sassy comments, so please excuse my sarcasm"
Travel,
Have a great time in Venice. I did the same thing when I found this site, except mine was a real dumb question.
