visiting ndorfdogne castles with someone with limited mobility

We are planniong to rent a car in Brive and go to the Dordogne. We plan to visit Castelnaud and Beynac castles. I. believe I have seen posts that suggest that there is parking near the castles. Is this correct? Hope we don't have to climb up a big hill to get to the castles.

Thx

More to the point: these castles do not have elevators and are multi=storied. Is that a problem?
