Visiting Churches in Venice

The bigger, more significant churches in Venice charge an admission fee of three Euro (St Marks being an exception). But you can buy a pass, called a “Chorus Pass”, for nine Euro, which gives admission to 16 of the most significant churches. We only came across this by accident, in conversation with an attendant – after spending three Euro on more than a few occasions.

Church attendants don't automatically offer this, particularly if they have little English. The pass comes with a good map and is great value. Just think – for nine Euro, you can see some of the finest works in Venice. The pass has a validity of one year.

Thanks Peter, this is great to know. Do you know where in general the 'chorus pass' can be bought. Does anyone know which of the significant churches it includes.
I can't wait to be in Venice... Lissa

Oops, I forgot. You can buy the Pass at any of the participating churches and I believe you can also find it wherever Venice Cards are sold.
