Visa requirements for travel through Switzerland

Hi,

I am traveling from Milan to Frankfurt via overnight train. The train will pass through Switzerland; do I need a Swiss visa even though I will not get of the train.

Thanks this is urgent.

needs transit visa i think - contact Swiss Consulate or Embassy in US - cll Swiss Tourist Office in US and ask: 877-794-8037

i was on a train from Rome to Basel at night and three Kosovo guys were in the compartment and for whatever reasonthey were removed at the Swiss frontier by Swiss border officials.

folks seemingly do not slip thru the contry unnoticed.

or consider flying

Thanks, I was afraid that was going to be he answer. There is not enough time for a transit visa, so we'll just have to fly.
