Virgin Trains East Coast Punctuality

Are Virgin Trains East Coast generally on schedule? I will be travelling from Edinburgh to the UK . I'm considering one of the later trains and don't want to end up delayed and arriving in a strange country in the middle of the night.

You can check for travel alerts here - https://www.virgintrainseastcoast.co...travel-alerts/

As long as there are no planned engineering works or snow, it should be fine. Of course, there can always be last minute delays but that's always the case when travelling

The latest punctuality data on this route is at https://www.virgintrainseastcoast.co...urgh-services/

(Clue: Google "punctuality, Virgin East Coast")
If you're arriving in London, I can't begin to imagine why you might think it matters: buses and taxis run all night.

If arriving at Newcastle, York or Peterborough, taxis will be there as well.

Sorry - I meant London. And the reason it matters is two women alone walking to the hotel - we just want to get there before too late.
Thanks for the responses.

>>And the reason it matters is two women alone walking to the hotel -<<

I can't imagine any area you might be staying where you couldn't walk safely to your hotel at just about any time of day/night.

Being two of you is doubly safe -- I wander around all parts of London solo perfectly securely.

Plus being a few minutes (or a LOT of minutes) late would have no affect on safety.
