I don't think this guy has an actual shop, but we bought a FABULOUS vintage poster from his extensive collection at an antique exhibition in Parc Monceau.

He has mostly advertising posters from the turn of the last century, and had posters in great condition of many very well known poster artists (like Capiello's Maurin Quina, the one with the green devilish guy, and Cassandra's travel posters).

He can also use his network to find a specific poster if you tell him in advance what you're looking for.

His name is Gerard MARCU, and his company name is Perline. His telephone number is 02 37 52 94 59, fax 02 37 52 94 81, portable 06 11 43 03 46. If you can't get through to him, you can try the organizers of the antique exhibition, Sadema, at 01 40 62 95 95.

Good luck, and happy hunting!!!

Michelle
You might also try all of the vendors along the banks of the Seine by the Latin Quarter. They deal in old books and some have posters as well, some old, some reproductions. They are on the left bank right on the sidwalk and display their wares in their kiosks all along the river for a couple of blocks or so. We bought several reproduction posters from one chap at good prices, and he also had some original antique ones for sale. Just a thought.

There's a wonderful poster shop on Blvd St. Germain in the 7th Arr. at 213 bis Blvd St. Germain. The name is "Librairie Elbe." The genial manager is Gregoire Deon, tel #: 01-45-48-77-97. He has books and a lot of posters from the 1920's until perhaps early 1950's. They start around 80 Euros and up, up, up! This shop is between Metro stops: "Rue du Bac" and "Solferino," Line 12. A broad in living in Paris!
