Vineyards - Italy

We are going to Tuscany at the end of May and I am wodering about the best vineyards to visit - fro day trips, not to stay.

(I did try posting this before, but do not think it worked - apologize if its repetitive.)

It is repetitive, but let me see if I can help you through your inexperience, politely.

The message "threads" on this forum "stack up" over 200 "deep" (or more) in any 24 hour period. Your previous message(s) can be found by clicking on "get the next 50 messages" at the bottom of the lefthand column. You have to keep doing it to get "backwards" even 24 hours. Or check here every 2-3 hours.

When anyone adds ANY new message - - even one word - - your message "thread" moves back to the top of the stack (on the lefthand side. This has given tise to the verb "topping". I am going to "top" your old messages for you right now.

And since you have been checking in at infrequent intervals - - and thus don't understand why your messages can't be found, I am going to break one of my own personal rules and e-mail you (I assume you have given a real e-mail address) to tell you all this.

Best wishes,

Rex

I give up on trying to understand how to help people politely. Rebecca has written to me and told me that my e-mail to her was condescending and rude.
Hey, at least she used a real email address. Sorry she didn't appreciate a bit of assistance...the forum does get busy, especially over the weekend, and newbies often have the "where'd it go" problem. Rebecca -- sounds like Rex was really trying to be helpful. I would expect the best source for finding vineyards to tour would be your hotel/agritourism concierge/host.

That's a good one, Rex! I can't stop laughing!!! Diane, I agree with you.
I am sure Rex meant it with the best of intentions.

Lighten up, Rebecca, we all make mistakes here. I am a fast and not so perfect typist. Pleanty of my errors show up. The typing police know who I am and seem to have given up harassing me.
