Villages in Tuscany and Umbria

I'm looking to visit medieval villages in the Tuscany/Umbria Area. Please list any towns worth visit.

In Umbria: Assisi, Todi, Gubbio, Deruta (for its pottery), Castiglion del Lago (on Lake Trasimeno), Orvieto (great Dome), Perugia, Spello.
In Tuscany: Lucca, Montepulciano.

Definitely Assisi. If staying overnight(s), stay uphill near the Basilicas (St. Francis or St. Claire) recommend Hotel Dei Priori, Alexander, Fontebella, or Windsor Savoia.
