Vienna, what's with zone 100?

I'll be going to Vienna at the end of September and I keep reading about a 72 hour ticket for public transportation that would seem to be very helpful to me but how large of an area does this zone 100 cover?

Hi Matt,

it covers most of the city, from Kahlenberg to the Central Cemetery, and from further than Schönbrunn to Kagran and far away.

It´s more than enough for a normal visit. Maybe next URL can help you :

http://www.wienplan.com/index.html

Enjoy Vienna,
