Vienna Meidling to hotel

Can you tell me what the distance is and which is the best way to get from Meidling train station to the Premier Romischer Kaiser Hotel on Annagasse 16? We prefer not to take the tube/metro. Assuming it's too far to walk, are the cabs outside the station safe and a fair price? I can't find a way to email the hotel to ask advice.
Thanks

Thank you both, Julie and Elberko. I never thought of checking Google maps to find the distance and there are a couple of questions I would like to email the hotel but didn't have their address. I appreciate it.

You can also send an e-mail to the hotel. Most hotels are happy to provide written directions on how to get there from the train station or other common landmarks.

If you do not wish to use the UBahn, you still have ways to reach the hotel.

The distance is much too far to walk.
Taxis will be found just outside of the terminal- probably 15 euro cost or a little more depending on traffic.

Easy public transport -
just outside the terminal is the Miedlig/ Phidalphia brucke transport stop .

Bothe the Streetcar#62 and Badenerbahn stop there on the journey into the city center - you will see Karntnerstrasse/ Oper as the end destination. Take whichever one comes first ( probably one every 5 minutes or less )
tickets available from automatic machine in the train terminal 1,80 euro.
2 euro on the car.
Journey takes 15-20 minutes without a change -
At the end station next to the Opera house simply walk a very short distance down Karntnerstrasse , a pedestrian street to Annagasse on your right side . The hotel is just a short distance from the corner on your left side.

Molker, thank you so much for the precise info on the streetcar. that's sounding like it might be our preferred way to go. sounds easy. We're seniors and don't want anything too complicate. I appreciate your time.
