Good transfer services
www.red-cab.at
www.airportdriver.at
price 29- 32 euro-
usual service driver waits with a sign at Arrivals- assists with luggage to nearby auto- travel 30 minutes or less depending on traffic.
Your hotel nicely located by the Opera and just off the main boulevard - Ringstrasse

I used c and k auto service. (I think it's cundk.com). They charged 32 euro for the airport to our hotel in central Vienna. Don't remember if it was a Mercedes, but it was a comfortable and clean sedan, and the driver met us as soon as we exited the baggage area. Easy to book online too. I would recommend them, although the recommendation is based on just the one time.

I would not oüen above mentioned website for C and K unless you are into leather and other fetish clothing.
C and K
is
cundk.at
but I believe some consolidation of services at Vienna has occured
and now Airport Driver and C and K are both owned by the same company - note similar websites and pricing thus similar services.

It seems unfortunate that the above poster seems to recommend
the same wsbsite for almost all of their postings here.
This regardless of the nature or location for the inquiry- whether taxi, restaurant cafe, phone cards, etc.
In addition , the recommended taxi service for this question does not charge by a flat rate for the entire city of Vienna , rather by the kilometer - not good for a traveler and normally much higher than a transfer service.
Poster making the same website recommendation for nearly every question they answer seems suspect at best - one could consider this just an advertisement

Perhaps when in Vienna and perhaps elsewhere, above poster should take a few moments and look to various other services for good transport - those I mention in above posting offer good service but also importantly fixed lesser fees for transport.
Red Cab - happens to be a partner of Austrian Air - good value.

I'm reviving an old thread because I'm thinking of using red/cab for the trip from the airport in Vienna to my hotel in October, and I'm hoping that (1) the original poster will weigh in on how his/her experience with red/cab was, and (2) someone will answer the original poster's last question (does one tip on top of the 29 euro fee, and, if so, how much?). Thanks.

Tipping depends on individual traveler and often varies by origin of the traveler.
The normal if driver assists at all with luggage would be 10%
But I have a business associate , a banker in Vienna- never tips at all. Always a harsh comment by the driver.
